My name is Manon Antoinette and I have been making costumes, corsets and hats for several years. From 2005 to 2010 I used to do so professionally and had my own business, doing commissioned work and selling supplies. The shop was known as Victorian Elegance.

I love costume drama, history, reading, cooking, music, have studied Graphic Design and Management, am a mother of two teenage boys. I've been a long time member of costume site Your Wardrobe Unlocked - and even written a few articles and of the sister site about corseting Foundations Revealed, both are wonderful and inspiring!

About a year ago, 2011, I met the love of my life, and we have been to Paris in July... and we haven't been apart since. He does not share my passion for costumes, but he does support me. Together we are also a couple of gamers, SWTOR and WoW we mostly play together. And we both enjoyed Skyrim a lot. My love gave me the collectors edition of Skyrim for my birthday, which is on the 12th of November, excellent timing.

My friend Marise got me interested in Blythe dolls in 2010. She has a large family of 32 dolls and at the end of the year, I started looking into Blythe. And now I'm enthousiasticly thinking up doll dresses and creations for my very first Blythe. I've also fallen in love with the über cuteness of Amigurumi, so I'm learning to crochet.

You can follow me to see what I'm up to on my blog! Manon Antoinette

So far my Blythe doll collection exists of Prudence Mae (Very Vicky FBL) and Antoinette Veronica (Merry Skier SBL), but I have been making a wishlist ...

I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs of my work as much as I enjoy creating them!

Yours truly,
